1325. In my report I shall discuss geography, activities, sites, and economic impact. Mexico City was settled in March 18, 1325. It was founded by the Mexican tribe. In 1810 there was an outbreak of the Mexican War of Independence. In 1824, the Mexican Federal District was established by the new government and signing of their new constitution. In general, Mexico City enjoys spring weather year-round with the evenings somewhat cooler. In the winter months and then June to September, is the rainy season which is typical of short and heavy showers in the afternoons. There are an estimated three million stray dogs in greater Mexico City and at least as many cats. The situation is even direr outside the city, limits most of these stray animals will starve, die of disease and succumb to live on the streets.
There are many sites and activities to do and see in Mexico City. There are many things you can do in Mexico City. You can go to the zoo at the Chapultepec Park. You can see bull fights at Plaza Mexico Bullring. One landmark to see is floating Gardens of Xochimilco. You can also see the El Angel de la Independence statue found on Passed de la Reforma. The ruins of the Aztec temple Mayor have been excavated and can be toured. In addition, the city has around 160 museums, over 100 art galleries, and some 30 concert halls. In 1968 the city hosted the Olympic Games. The city was the 1970 Final world cup and the 1986 final world cup, the final matches of which took place in the Estadio Azteca.
These are the economics of Mexico City. Government, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, automotive industry, banking and investments, construction, textiles, hotel and restaurant industries, are the city’s major industries. These businesses are the backbone of the economy of Mexico City. Without them, the city would be bankrupt. If a major industry close there would be many people out of work and many people would become poor. People would also be homeless. Other small businesses would close. If those businesses close there might not be any places to shop or buy food.
This concludes my report is on Mexico City. The outbreak of the Mexican war of Independence was an important part of history. Government, banking, investments, and other industries are very important to Mexico City. There are many sites and activities to do in Mexico City. It would be a good place to visit.
